Sod Installation
A real lawn, in one day, instead of a season of hoping seed takes.
Old lawn out, ground prepped properly, fresh sod laid tight and rolled. You water it, and in a couple of weeks it has rooted into a lawn you'd never know was new.
What's included
Everything in this job, spelled out.
- Old lawn and weeds removed. Stripped out and hauled away, not tilled under to grow back through.
- Ground graded and leveled. Low spots filled, slope pulled away from the house.
- Soil prepped before anything goes down. Loosened and amended so roots have somewhere to go.
- Sod laid tight, seams staggered. Laid like brickwork so the seams knit closed instead of showing all summer.
- Rolled in. Pressed into contact with the soil — this is the step that decides whether it roots.
- Watering plan you can actually follow. The first two weeks decide everything. We tell you exactly what to do.
The work
Sod Installation, on real properties.
Before
AfterHow it works
Three steps, no runaround.
1
Measure the area
We come out and measure so you're buying the right amount — sod is sold by the yard and guessing gets expensive.
2
Strip and prep
Old turf out, ground graded and loosened. Most of the job is what happens before the sod arrives.
3
Lay, roll, water
Fresh sod down the same day it's delivered, rolled in, and watered before we leave.
“Lobos transformed my entire property before I put my house on the market. They did an awesome job and went above and beyond, hauling away junk and excess debris. They were very easy to work with and asked a fair price. Hired them again for monthly maintenance!”

Questions
What people ask before they book.
How soon can I walk on it?
Stay off it as much as you can for the first two weeks while it roots. Light foot traffic after that, normal use in about a month.
How much do I water it?
Heavily, every day, for the first two weeks — more than feels reasonable. That's the whole game with new sod. We'll walk you through tapering off after that.
Sod or seed?
Sod costs more up front and gives you a finished lawn the same day. Seed is cheaper but means months of bare patches and weeds competing. If you're selling, or you have kids or dogs, sod.
Best time of year?
Spring and fall are ideal here. Summer sod works but needs serious watering discipline to survive its first few weeks.
